$175 per Artist Alley Table

Each Table is 6’ and unskirted

When you book an Artist Alley table with Anime Magic!, it will include the following:

• Your Table(s) chosen (each table is 6’ unskirted)

• One Chair per table

• One Artist Alley Badge (Full Weekend Access) per registration

• One ID Sign per registration

• Free WiFi (Shared Public DES Center Connection)

Extra Artist badges may be purchased at the convention day-of as well as online through our private payment portal. If accepted you will be given access to our private payment portal. Artist badges will not be mailed out prior to convention and must be picked up during check in at the con. You will be notified on how/where to pick up your badges as well as where you can purchase additional badges prior to the convention.

BY REGISTERING AS AN ARTIST YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Artists understand that these rules are established to ensure a safe, orderly, and proper Artist space. They protect the safety, security, liability, and public image of the convention and its attendees. Artists agree that rules and policies, including these, are important and necessary for the smooth operation of the event, and they agree to abide by all such rules and policies.

2. Anime Magic! Is not liable for any damage caused to hotel, convention, or venue premises or property by the Artist, Artist’s staff, friends, acquaintances, colleagues, etc. Artist agrees they may incur a fee and be held personally liable if they cause any damage to any part of the hotel premises or property including Anime Magic! premises or property.

3. Anime Magic! has a No Refund policy for tables. If you do not check in at your designated time and date, your table will be forfeited and canceled. Walk-in registration is not allowed. You must fill out the tax information form that was sent to you as soon as you pay for your table. Set up times and dates will be set by Anime Magic!.

4. Space is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Submitting the form does NOT guarantee you a table, it only grants you consideration for one. If you are selected for a space, the space will not be held until you have completed the registration process in full and paid for your table(s) in full.

5. Anime Magic! reserves total right of table and artist placement. You may request a specific location or accommodation and while we take these into consideration, there is no guarantee you will receive your request.

6. Commercial (licensed) items are not allowed. Direct reproductions of work that is not the artist`s own are not allowed. Artist Alley provides 6ft tables and 1 chair for each table booked. There may only be a maximum of four persons behind a full table at any given time. Additional chairs provided by the convention center may incur a fee. Con staff reserves the right to remove any extra chairs or people (beyond 2) behind the table if it is deemed a safety or courtesy concern.

7. No illegal merchandise of any kind may be sold in our Artist Alley, period.

8. Anime Magic! reserves the right to inspect any Artist Alley booth at any time, including but not limited to the: booth, table, boxes, artwork, setup, signs, items, containers, boxes, or other containers besides original manufacturers packaging.

9. AI Art booths are not allowed at Anime Magic!. By agreeing to these policies you agree not to produce or sell AI artwork at our event, and understand that you will be removed from our Alley without refund if found to be in violation of our policy.

10. All Artists are responsible for their own licensing to do business within the state and/or county.

11. Selling weapons to minors is illegal and not allowed in our Artist Alley.

12. Artist Alley is about the promotion of your creative works. Please use your best judgment in what you bring and sell! Prints, independently-produced comics/doujinshi, commissioned drawings, and independently-produced small merchandise are all permissible. Charging for services outside these realms will not be allowed.

13. Sharing and splitting of tables is strictly prohibited. Anime Magic! reserves the right to limit the number of tables purchased per company or artist.

14. You may not rent, sell, or sublet your table to anyone else.

15. Artists do not have to remain at their tables for the duration of the convention, but it is strongly suggested that artists do not leave any belongings unsupervised. Anime Magic!, convention staff, the convention center, its staff, the hotel, and hotel staff are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items. Creative displays are allowed, but may not take up space in the walkway or infringe another artist`s space.

16. 18+ Adult Rated art is permissible in our Artist Alley, however it may not be directly viewable to passer-bys. You must cover sensitive parts of 18+ material for all passer-bys. Artists may display a sign that advertises an adult-themed portfolio, but may not show or sell adult material to anyone below 18 years of age. The final decision on whether a display or other adult material will be allowed is reserved by Anime Magic! con staff. Artists are expected to act according to the con rules that apply to all Anime Magic! attendees. Please treat fellow artists and attendees with consideration and respect.

17. Electricity is not included in the Artist Alley pricing, however it may be available for purchase separately from the convention center and/or hotel a/v supplier. Contact con staff for more information.

18. Signs, decorations, banners, etc may not be taped, nailed, tacked, stapled, or otherwise fastened to ceilings, walls, painted surfaces, or columns at our convention. If this occurs, you may incur a damage fee from the hotel depending on the damage done.

19. The convention is not responsible for losses due to theft, damage, fire, or other causes. Artist’s must take care to watch their own space during the exhibitor hours.

20. We reserve the right to amend, adapt, modify, update or otherwise change these rules to protect the safety, security, liability, or public image of the convention and/or it's attendees, or for any other reason deemed necessary by the convention's executives.

21. Anime Magic! reserves the right to eject any Artist Alley member without refund who violates these policies.

22. Anime Magic! reserves the right to ask any Artist to leave for any reason that we believe may be harmful for our event.

REFUNDS AND ADDITIONAL BADGES

1. Anime Magic! Has a NO REFUND policy. However, in special circumstances we may provide a refund dependent upon the circumstances. Refunds will be looked at on a case-by-case basis and there is never a guarantee of refund.

2. Up to 3 additional Artist Alley badges may be purchased per table after you have purchased your table(s). These badges will be offered at a discount and pricing made available to you via email.

3. Transfers of tables are NOT allowed. If you are unable to attend, you may request a refund (not guaranteed, see above) and your table will be opened to the next person on the waitlist.

4. Refund requests must be sent to richard@animemagic.org. All refunds are subject to a service fee of $40 per table and $10 per Additional Badge. There are no refunds after May 1st, 2022. If after May 1st, 2022, you find that you are unable to attend, please notify richard@animemagic.com so that your table can be released to the next person on the waitlist.
